I opened Park West Salon in 1989. My years of experience are important, but what is most important is that my clients are happy with their services. My greatest reward is seeing my clients light up with a smile after a new haircut, a fresh highlight, or a brilliant color. Recognizing, when we feel good about our hair we feel better about everything else. I pride myself in keeping up with the latest trends in cutting and coloring techniques so that I am better able to meet the needs of my clients. I regularly invite in-salon educators and attend industry shows around the country. As the owner of Park West, I enjoy mentoring stylists new to the profession and am regularly reminded that the career of hairdressing is deeply collaborative and rewarding. Most rewarding of all, are the many clients who return again and again, year after year, often becoming family. My expansive knowledge and artistic skills comes from over 22 years in the industry. With years of education thru advanced training by Keratin Complex, Paul Mitchell, American Crew, Pureology, Olaplex and Schwarzkopf, I continue to enhance my talents with the latest trends and styles. I currently have many certifications in color, hairstyling, keratin treatments, men’s cuts and clipper cuts. My love for the trade and the personal relationships I have built have resulted in a longtime loyal cliental. My clients can count on me to produce brilliant results that are easy to recreate at home, especially with suggestions on the right tools and products for their hair type and style. When I am not in the salon setting, I am most likely enjoying time spent with my husband and two daughters.

Hairstylist with over 30 years of salon experience and former National Educator/Colorist for 12 years with John Paul Mitchell systems. I believe education is the key to mastering the ever changing trends in the beauty industry. It’s also a great way to let clients know I’m on top of my game. My passion lies in the artistry of haircolor and haircutting. I’m truly grateful for the long standing clientele I’ve built and always look forward to meeting new faces. One of the best rewards of being a Hairstylist is making that personal connection with someone, and then seeing them LOVE THEIR HAIR! A happy client is the bottom line for me.

Namaste! I am Sahis and I hail from the Himalayan nation, Nepal. I am a licensed cosmetologist and received my diploma from the Empire Beauty School in 2009. I have garnered almost 8 years of work experiences in the industry nationally and internationally providing services to clients that include but not limited to haircuts for both men and women, coloring, threading, aesthetics, facials, wedding parties, formal styling for proms and those special occasions and make-up. I enjoy working with my colleagues and I’m always seeking to enhance my skillsets by attending beauty conferences and staying up-to-date. I love cooking and traveling to exotic places in my spare time.

Hi! I’m Maggie. I started working as an assistant at Park West Salon in 2019. I’m a graduate of Medford Vocational Technical High School where I not only graduated with my license but also certifications in Keratin, Pravan, Amika, and Barbercide. I have since received my cosmetology license and I am currently working with clients in the salon along with building my own clientele here at Park West! I truly love working with clients and consulting with them to achieve their ultimate satisfaction. Anytime there is a client in my chair my personal goal is to have them leave feeling beautiful in the most confident version of themselves . I recently started at Parkwest in 2022, but have been doing hair in the Arlington area for 2 years prior. I graduated from Shawsheen technical high school with my cosmetology license in 2019, and have been doing hair ever since. I love doing special event styling such as updos and braids, creative colors, and balayage services. Creating meaningful relationships with my clients and making them feel not only confident in their own skin, but also comfortable and welcomed in their environment are extremely valuable to me. Educating myself on the latest styles and trends is very important to me, as I am always learning and growing as a person and a stylist. I love to keep my creative juices flowing when not at the salon by singing, crocheting, and sewing!
ROSE
I have been working at Park West Salon since 2008, part time as a receptionist, greeting clients, answering the phone, scheduling appointments and helping them enjoy and relax while at Park West. I also help the stylists any way I can, so they may accommodate their clients and give them their full attention while being serviced at our salon. My experience includes 26 years working in administration at 4 different High Schools in the area, working with the administrators, students, parents and staff. I love working with the clients and staff at Park West and hope to remain at Park West for some time.
